The Valle di Cembra is among the highest wineries in Europe, with vineyards located as high as 850 metres above sea level. The terroir is the most distinctive element of the Valle di Cembra Mountain Winery, where everything has to be done manually and production is extremely labour-intensive. The vineyard locations are all extraordinary, with perfect exposure. The incredible human effort is rewarded in the resulting wines, with their absolute purity of fruit.

The Valle di Cembra cellar was completely restructured between 2002 and 2007. Three quarters of the wine produced is white, with Müller Thurgau being the most significant white wine made. In terms of red, Pinot Nero and Schiava are the principal varieties. In order to maintain the unique characteristics which the grapes develop in their mountainent, maximum care is taken to keep the grape skins as intact as possible during pressing.

The Valle di Cembra winery was created in 2004 with the goal of offering products that fully embody the link between a wine and its territory. The vineyards cultivated on steep terraces, with favourable sun exposure at significant altitudes, make the Winery and its products unique in the panorama of European winemaking. The goal of conserving “the flavour”, the work, the traditions, and the nature of this very particular corner of Trentino is translated into wines with intense fragrances and soft flavours
